The Castle Hotel, Windsor rebranded to Accor Hotel’s design-led brand, MGallery.
The brief was to restore and deliver a genuine environment using soft chalky colours and a refined sophistication expected by the M Gallery guest.
The interior design reflects the wealth of heritage “Owned” by the building. “Making it’s Mark On History” the hotels Brand Statement in which Trevillion contributed a significant part in the creation, borne out of the hotel’s DNA .Trevillions relentless researching skills established that the hotel originally known as The Mermaid Inn, had it’s own coinage, bottled beer, Royal Warrant holders & various Royal links all elements which inspired the concept of “impression”
Trevillion allowed the hotels heritage to influence their thinking delivering a refreshing approach to the design, subtly styled with both contemporary & heritage furnishings. The rambling nature of the property together with a broad architectural history required an intelligent approach in respect of both efficient and intuitive space planning and an the delivery of a sophisticated FF&E styling.
